The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
257.
[Jesus, mighty to convert]
If Balak would give me his house, &c.
—xxii. 18.
Jesus, mighty to convert,
A secret power from Thee
Turn'd the covetous wizard's heart,
And caused his eyes to see;
“Now I must observe the word,
Beneath the government Divine,
Now,” he saith, “I serve the Lord,
And Israel's God is mine.”
