[My deerest mistrisse, let us live and love]

My deerest mistrisse, let us live and love,
And care not what old doting fools reprove.
Let us not feare their censures, nor esteeme
What they of us and of our loves shall deeme.
Old ages critticke and censorious brow
Cannot of youthful dalliance alow,
Nor ever could endure that we should tast
Of those delights which they themselves are past.
