[The Lord doth in His Son delight]
If the Lord delight in us, then He will bring us, &c.
—xiv. 8.
The Lord doth in His Son delight,
Doth us for Jesu's sake approve,
Our faith is pleasing in His sight
Productive of obedient love:
And all who thus in Him believe,
Already with the earnest bless'd,
God unto them the land shall give,
The gracious, and the glorious rest.
