O Infinite of joy and light
Wherewith we are surrounded,
We lift our spirits to Thy height,
Unfathomed and unbounded.
Thy greatness drowns our petty cares;
Thy heaven is in us, unawares.

Breath of our inmost being!
Thy purity will cleanse and bless
The soul from evil fleeing:
We hide our sin-stained hearts in Thee,
And pray, “As Thou art, let us be!”
