SCENE VI.

Arminius
alone.
Since he revolted to the Roman banners,
Four times the sun hath made his annual round,
And in that time these eyes have not beheld him.
Inspire me, Gods, with mild persuasive speech,
With words of pow'r, to wake each tender feeling,
And melt into his heart. But lo! he comes.
