Nay his colour dyscryueth of loue the feruent fyre
He is not crystened that can suche countynaunce fayne
Iupyter whiche had subdued many to his empyre
As sodaynly with loue Cupyde dyd hym retayne
And whan he to danaes in a golden shoure dyde complayne
His grefe consydered and well knowen for a trothe
She graunted hym loue and caused hym to remayne
What wyll ye haue forther than sure promyse and othe
