I write this letter in reference to
the article appearing in the Tuesday
Cavalier Daily which reported the
fire in the Delta Upsilon Fraternity
House. To clarify, there never has
been and is not now any suspicion
on the part of the fire Marshall or
the insurance investigators that any
member of the fraternity was in
any way involved with the incident.
It is strictly a matter of formality
that such inquiries be made after
incidents of this type and were not
intended to reflect in any way upon
the brotherhood. All investigations
by both the fire Marshall and the
insurance companies involved are,
in fact, complete.
