Bad Signs

Its coat of snow shed for the time being,
at least, the Lawn is an attractive, if
subdued, green and needs only a few more
days of sunshine to appear lushly verdant
again.

The grass planted late last summer seems
healthy and well-rooted enough by now for
Buildings and Grounds to remove those
unfriendly "Keep Off" signs around the
perimeter of the Lawn. The signs have outlasted
their usefulness and now are just plain
inhospitable-especially at a time when the
warmer weather will be bringing more and
more visitors to the Grounds.

If the groundskeepers don't remove the
signs soon, who could blame a few students
for doing the job themselves?
