Goe young man, let my heart alone,'Twil be a pris'ner unto none;
Nor will I Cupids shackles wear,
Since Lovers laws are so severe:
Love is my slave, while I despise;
But once content, hee'l tyrannise.

'Tis onely Beauty you admire,And that's the object of Desire,
Which by degrees burns to a flame,
And hence Love first receiv'd its name.
Then young man give me leave to doubt
Since Love's a fire, and sires will out.
