[The Russian husbands, as we're told]
CORRIGE SODES.
The Russian husbands, as we're told,
Their wives to due correction hold,
Whene'er they act, or judge ill:—
“Love me and love my dog,” we cry;
But their rough discipline seems to imply,
“Love me, and love my cudgel.”
