[Let Me alone, (amazing word!)]
Let Me alone, that My wrath may wax hot, &c.
—xxxii. 10.
Let Me alone, (amazing word!)
The' Almighty to His creature cries!
His creature binds the' almighty Lord,
And will not let His anger rise:
Jehovah must the rebels spare,
While Moses doth for mercy groan:
Jehovah hears, in Moses' prayer,
The pleading Spirit of His Son.
