His hands were steady until the going, &c.

Steady in continued prayer
Howe'er our hands may be,
We our Joshua's praise declare,
Who gets the victory:
He shall Amalek o'erthrow,
Before our sun of life goes down,
By His Spirit destroy the foe,
And crown us with His crown.
