[While the world is wrapp'd in night]

All the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. —x. 23.

While the world is wrapp'd in night,
Nor yet the darkness feel,
We the children of the light
In joy and comfort dwell;
Walking in the light of grace,
A brighter day we soon shall prove,
Dazzled with the glorious blaze
Of God's eternal love.
