| The Grecian Story | ||
Thirsander came not then, by Ten at Night;
Nor Trouble caus'd, since various Chances might
Produce Delay; well harbour'd both howere:
They thought to wait till fifth, sixth Evening there.
If fail'd that time, their Widow should be sent
To's House again, for knowing more th' Event.
Sixth Evening come, Timondes walked strait
To th' Widows Lodg, whom found Distemper'd late,
Not fit to Go; then 'twas resolv'd, design'd
Orsamnes should, for ease of doubtful Mind;
Five miles the Walk (as we declar'd before)
'Twas three to th' Lady's Grove, to th' Grange two more.
Nor Trouble caus'd, since various Chances might
Produce Delay; well harbour'd both howere:
They thought to wait till fifth, sixth Evening there.
If fail'd that time, their Widow should be sent
To's House again, for knowing more th' Event.
