Union, and Concord, Palms, and Olive-Crowns,
Trophies and Spoils, ta'ne from the tawny Gauls:
The pledg of Friendship, bonds of Unity.

A Roman constancy and Faith, commends
The great Sertorius; proud of such Ally.
Open the Phalanx; sound the voice of War:
And fill the Heav'ns with Battel-harmony.
