Five-Way Race
In a five-way race for the one
Law School Student Council
seat, Edwin W. Finch, III,
emerged as the new Law School
representative in the elections
held yesterday. He received 32.5
per cent of the 431 votes cast in
the election.
John S. Edwards was elected
to the Judiciary Committee in
the same election. The new
Judiciary constitution was
passed by the members of the
Law School by a vote of 343 for
and 53 opposed.
In other University elections,
the School of Nursing elected
Mary Alfriend, president; Nancy
L. Pitts, vice-president; Mary
Jones, secretary; and Beryl
Evans, treasurer.
