A THOUGHT.
“God wills but ill,” the doubter said,
“Lo, time doth evil only bear;
Give me a sign His love to prove—
His vaunted goodness to declare?”

A simple daisy, starred the sod,
And answered, “Proof of love and power
Behold—behold a smile of God!”
