[Father, if Thou my Father art]
The Lord said [Heb.] to his heart, &c.
—viii. 21.
Father, if Thou my Father art,
If Jesus made my sins His own,
Speak it into my listening heart,
Assure me that I am Thy son,
Comfort and rest in Christ restore,
And vow to curse this earth no more.
