Byde ȝe the brash, vhill I my battrie bring.
For all ȝour Craig, vharin ȝe so confyde,
Experience will play ȝou sik a spring,
Sall pluk ȝour pennis, and pacifie ȝour pryde.
I sall beseige ȝou sa on euirie syde,
Ȝour baggage, buluarks, sall not be na buit;
Ȝe sall not haif ane hoill ȝour heids to hyde,
Fra tym ȝe caus my cannoun royal shuit.
Haif at ȝour rocks and ramparts with a rattill;
Sho shuits so Sharpe, ȝe dou not byde a brattill.
