Long Returns
Gerard Mullins made three long
punt returns in the second quarter
to get the Cavaliers out of their
own territory, and the Wahoos
generally dominated play in the
period, but could only get on the
board once with Maxwell's boot.
Another attempted field goal by
Maxwell failed.
The Cavaliers took their slim
3-0 lead to the locker room at the
half and it looked to some as if an
upset was in the making.
