Bowers Pair At Prism

To highlight the Homecoming
weekend, the Prism presents Bryan
and Judi Bowers from Virginia
Beach. Bryan, who has previously
appeared on the Prism stage, has
only recently combined musically
with his wife. They have just returned
from a stay in California.

Together they sing and play the
autoharp and dulcimer, with
Bryan's range of instruments also
including guitar and fiddle. His credits
include shows at the Bitter End
in New York City, Main Point in
Philadelphia, and both Emergency
and Cellar Door in Washington,
D.C.

Bob Crawford, manager of the
Prism, reports that their act is one
of the finest to appear at the Prism
in its five years. Despite the short
duration of their musical collaboration,
their sound is "nothing short
of tremendous".

The doors open tonight at eight
with the sets starting at 9:15. The
doors open Saturday at nine, and
sets start an hour later. Refreshments
include soft drinks, cider,
various kinds of tea, and five cent
coffee in contrast to the fraternity
parties elsewhere on Rugby Road.

The cover charge of 75 cents
(one fifth the cost of the DB&F
concert) pays only their bills - the
Prism is a non-profit organization
sponsored by the United Ministry
Foundation with an independent
steering committee of students,
faculty, and chaplains.
