Name Omitted
I signed the letter from
economics department faculty
members to The Cavalier Daily
regarding its March 19 editorial
"After the Battle" but my name
was omitted when the letter appeared
in your March 22 issue. I
am writing to point out that omission.
Also, since the editor in a
replay asked to hear from a department
member who does not
subscribe to the "Chicago
School," let me confess that I do
not. But whether such a school
exists and whether I or others
belong is beside the point; the use
of such non-think categories prevents
rather than encourages useful
discussion. That is one of a
host of lessons available, for those
willing to seek them, "After the
Battle."
