Vpon the plaine as I rode all alone,
Assaulted by two sturdie lads I was.
I am a poore man Sires, let me be gone.
Nay, but ye shall be poore before ye passe.
And so I was: yet lost nothing thereby.
Would they had robde me of my pouerty.
