A Prayer.
Lord, in mercy pardon me
All that I this day have done:
Sins of every kind 'gainst Thee,
O forgive them through Thy Son.
All that I this day have done:
Sins of every kind 'gainst Thee,
O forgive them through Thy Son.
Make me, Jesus, like to Thee,
Gentle, holy, meek, and mild,
My transgressions pardon me,
O forgive a sinful child.
Gentle, holy, meek, and mild,
My transgressions pardon me,
O forgive a sinful child.
346
Gracious Spirit, listen Thou,
Enter in my willing heart,
Enter and possess it now,
Never, Lord, from me depart.
Enter in my willing heart,
Enter and possess it now,
Never, Lord, from me depart.
O eternal Three in One,
Condescend to bend Thine ear;
Help me still towards heaven to run,
Answer now my humble prayer.
Condescend to bend Thine ear;
Help me still towards heaven to run,
Answer now my humble prayer.
