Commenced school this morning after a week's holiday. I feel much discouraged about it. I wonder if I'm doing
the children any good. Carry Walker and Cousin Mildred [Meriwether] are with us. Carry gives me news of the
Oranges. Sue and I get "such a love of a bonnet."
