of Auchinleck -- Addressed to the Rev. Dr. T. D. By the Rev. Samuel Martin

I still retain, I trust, my name entire,
A member of the sober thinking choir,
As I proceed to mark, how strangely he
Cherish'd Johnsonian idolatry;
Himself degrading as the little bark,
Attendant on the huge all-bearing ark.
Yet, from this idolizer, 'tis, we find,
The littlenesses of the giant mind.
