To Cupid.

Ah Cupid, I mistooke thee,
I for an Archer, and no Fencer tooke thee,
But as a Fencer oft faines blowes and thrusts,
Where he intends no harme,
Then turnes his balefull arme,
And wounds that party which least his foe mistrusts:
So thou with fencing Art,
Faining to wound mine eyes, hast hit my heart.
