WADE AWARD—

James Shannon Miller
(right), a professor in the department of
electrical engineering in the School of
Engineering, is shown above receiving the Mac
Wade Award. The Wade Award is given each
year in the memory of Freeman MacMillan
Wade and is presented by the Engineering
Council to the student or faculty member
who has made the most outstanding
contribution to the School of Engineering.
Mr. Miller is retiring this year after 49 years of
service to the University.
