As one looks out the basement door of Emmet House, a miserable situation is depicted. Scenes like this one have been quite common this fall. People can adapt to a bad situation though. Many don hats, long raincoats, and umbrellas to immunize themselves from the rain. Some, however, adapt the best way possible; they stay dry by remaining in bed.
