28 Of Faustus fishing.

With siluer hooke Faustus for flesh was fishing,
But that game byting not vnto his wishing,
He said, he did (being thus shrewdly matcht)
Fish for a Roach, but had a Gudgen catcht.
Faustus, it seemes thy luck therein was great,
For sure the Gudgen is the better meat.
Now bayt againe, that game is set so sharpe,
That to that Gudgen, thou mayst catch a Carpe.
