[Sins that doe float in teares, are often drown'd]

Sins that doe float in teares, are often drown'd
In their own floods; When reall sighs abound,
They raise a tempest, and our sins are tost
Against the rocks of Mercy, till they'r lost.
When sins beleaguer us with hostile feares,
There's no Artillery like Davids teares.
