Judiciary Action

Wednesday, January 6, the Judiciary
Committee met and found five students
guilty of a violation of section three (3) of
the University Code of Conduct. This
section prohibits "unauthorized entry into
or occupation of University facilities which
are locked, closed to student activities, or
otherwise restricted as to use."

The students in question entered a
University facility by means of underground
heat tunnels. Aside from the illegality of
such entrance, the Committee wished to
stress that the use of these tunnels is
extremely dangerous. Steam is frequently
released without notice and the tunnels
contain unannounced drops of thirty feet or
more.
