FAB. CX. The Tortoise and Eagle.

The Tortoise begs the Eagle her to beare,
To search for Iewells in a Rock oth' Ayr,
But having ransackt all the distant skyes,
He finds the cheat, and makes his load the prize.

Morall

Promise not princes what you never meant,
Least death be worse deceiv'd be the event.
