Film Examines
LSD Effects
There will be a short film
on LSD shown tonight at 7:30
in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom.
The film deals with the
discovery and the harmful effects
of the hallucinogenic
drug.
It is distributed by the Department
of the Navy. There
is no admission charge for the
35 minute film.
The film is part of a recent
upsurge in books, research articles
and broadcasts about the
effects of LSD and other "psychedelic"
drugs. Dr. John
Buckman, an associate professor
of psychiatry at the University,
has also written several
articles about LSD.
