Door Check System
Under the new door check
system, it is this visible slip that
will indicate to the checker at the
door that the materials have
been checked out.
The charge part of the card
will be keypunched at a later
time and entered into the automated
system from which printouts
of the books in circulation,
computer printed overdue notices,
and statistics of library use will
be produced.
Beginning February 1, the
plastic identification cards will
be handed out at the circulation
desk to all borrowers.
The loan period for students
and staff under the new system
will be a minimum of four weeks
and a maximum of five weeks.
