APPOINTMENTS
The following appointments were announced:
- Mr. Martin Battestin as a Member, Center for Advanced Studies, for the months of July and August, 1975.
- Mr. Robert L. Baxter, Jr., as Assistant Dean of Students, one-half time, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1975.
- Mr. Thomas F. Bergin, William Minor Lile Professor of Law, as a Member, Center for Advanced Studies, for one year, effective July 1, 1975.
- Mr. Staige D. Blackford as Editor, Virginia Quarterly Review and Special Assistant to the President, for three years, effective July 1, 1975.
- Mr. Michael S. Caldwell as Director, Bureau of Educational Research, for two years, effective July 1, 1975.
- Mr. Leroy S. Fletcher as Chairman, Department of Mechanical Engineering, for five academic years, effective September 1, 1975.
- Mr. David B. Harned as Chairman, Department of Religious Studies, for five academic years, effective September 1, 1975.
- Mr. John L. Hudson as Chairman, Department of Chemical Engineering, for five academic years, effective September 1, 1975.
- Dr. Robert A. Jahrsdoerfer as Acting Chairman, Department of Otolaryngology, for one year, effective July 1, 1975.

- Mr. James C. Nohrnberg as a Member, Center for Advanced Studies, for three years, effective July 1, 1975.
