THE WAY-SIDE TREE
The loiterers in my shade of oldThemselves are shadows now;
Their bodies, mingled with the mold,
Upbreathe to many a bough
The leaves o'ershadowing today
Some fellow-pilgrim on the way
That leads him to the vision blest,
The Holy Sepulchre of Rest.
