Brudenell and Symonds with each other vying,
Sweet youths! for little Norman's favours sighing,
A picturesque effect would form;
That hugging mother for the daughter's charms
This with the yielding damsel in his arms,
Taking the citadel by storm;
That running with the girl in triumph off,
This with the dog, the mother, and the muff.

A pretty black-eyed figurante at the Opera.
