Coordinates Bike Lanes

Bike lanes on Rugby Road
and other main arteries into
the University are being
"seriously considered" by both
committees to coordinate with
new bike lanes on the Grounds.

The problem of erosion of
the Grounds caused by
bicycles, especially around
Newcomb Hall and the dorms,
will also be considered.

In the past, the student
committee has studied
automobile traffic on
McCormick Road in front of
Clark Hall. This Spring, "the
University Traffic and Parking
Committee will consider the
removal of all automobile
traffic on that portion of
McCormick Road."
