UNREGENERATE?

Thou hast not breathed this mortal air,
Whose breathing bringeth sin;
Clean as the heavens thou art, but there
They will not let thee in.
Go little pilgrim pure and white,
Seek thou the heavenly gate;

If long thou there must wait.
Nay, He and I must strangers be,
If, for His pity's sake,
My little orphan'd Purity
He will not stoop to take,
