Ricordarsi il Ben Doppia la Noia.

A gentle frend (by way of comfort) said
Unto a father that did sadly waile
His sons deer losse: Ah Sir; be once apaid,
Sith all your mourning nothing can prevaile.
Why that's the thing, because I nought availe;
That I (quoth hee) so sore his death lament;
Oh that my memorie of him could faile:
But, like Lots wife, our eyes still backe are bent
Upon those joyes, which erst wee held most leefe;
The thought of which doth double present greefe.

Ista tamen quocunque ferar me cura sequetur.
