March Against Hunger

A fifteen-mile march against
hunger, Saturday, Oct. 21, will
aim to raise $10,000 through
local sponsors paying a given
amount per mile covered by
each marcher.

Sponsored by CROP, an
association of the Community
Hunger Appeal of the Church
World Service, the march is
being organized by Rev.
Kenneth G. Carlson, pastor of
the Emmanuel Church.

The money will be
distributed to the Monticello
Area Community Action and
to CROP for its emergency
work and for the hungry in
India and Bangladesh.

All are encouraged to march
and should contact Rev.
Carlson at 295-4038 for
further information.
