XXVIII.
[There is none good but God alone]
Why callest thou Me good? there is none good but One, that is God.
Matthew xix. 17.
There is none good but God alone,
And Jesus is that only One,
One with His Father in the sky,
One with Jehovah the most high,
One with the Spirit of holiness;
A different person we confess,
But not a different God esteem:
Goodness itself adore in Him!
