[Jesus our Righteousness]

This is the name whereby He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness. Jeremiah xxiii. 6.

Jesus our Righteousness
Jehovah we confess:
Very man of very man,
Him who bought us with His blood,
We and all His church maintain
Very God of very God.
Jesus, Jehovah, hear,
And what Thou art appear!
By a faithless world denied,
Fulness of the Deity,
Is there any God beside?
Answer for Thyself in me.
