[A wonderful plurality]

I and My Father are one. John x. 30.

A wonderful plurality
In the true God by faith we see,
Who hear the record of the Son
“I and My Father are but one;”
In different persons we proclaim
One God eternally the same.
Father and Son in nature join,
Each person is alike Divine:
Alike by heaven and earth adored,
Thy Spirit makes the glorious Third:
Co-equal, co-eternal Three,
Show Thyself One, great God, in me.
