[The prophet of the Lord most high]
And Thou Child shalt be called the Prophet of
the Highest, for Thou shalt go before the face of the
Lord to prepare His ways.
Luke i. 76.
Behold, I send My messenger before Thy face, to prepare Thy way before Thee.
Matthew xi. 10.
The prophet of the Lord most high
Was sent before His face,
With tidings of Jehovah nigh,
And to prepare His ways:
And every messenger of His
Rejoices to proclaim,
Jesus the great Jehovah is!
