[If any man looke but on Dabus wife]

If any man looke but on Dabus wife,
He is straight a Cuckolde he dares lay his life,
But if one talke with her then it is so,
Though all the sooth-sayers in the Towne say no,
But if you kisse her ay then he is vp in blood,
And sweares she beares two faces vnder one hoode.
