WTJU Announces Changes

WTJU has announced several changes
and additions in its second semester
schedule.

The station will now offer national
news and features from the
Mutual Broadcasting System each morning
and evening. The radio network service is
being paid for in full by several area
merchants including the Library
Restaurant, Albemarle Playhouse,
Gitchell's Studio, Campbell's of Olde
Virginia, and James H. Williams Realtor.

A sixth program will also be added to
the Old Time Radio series. The new
program, "The Sealed Book", is being
paid for by Peyton Pontiac, and will be
aired at 12:30 a.m. Wednesdays. In
addition, Sherlock Holmes, a favorite
program, will be repeated each Thursday
evening at 5:30.

WTJU thanks the members of the
University and Charlottesville
communities, and particularly the Alumni
Fund, for their generous response to the
recent fund drive, which enabled WTJU
to purchase needed equipment.
