Grads Elect Breslin

Tom Breslin led a field of five candidates
to win the Student Council seat from the
Graduate College of Arts and Sciences
vacated by the departure of Anne Sue Ford,
in voting that took place yesterday.

Mr. Breslin received 72 votes to beat
Pedro Saavedra, who received 61 votes;
David Barton, who had 31 votes; George
Brown, who received 22 votes; and Randy
Simmons, who had 19 votes.

There were 209 ballots cast, and 202
people signed the tally sheets.
