• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following persons be and they are hereby elected Professor Emeritus:
• Mr. Charles C. Abbott, Professor of Business Administration and Dean, Graduate School of Business Administration.
• Mr. Chalmers L. Gemmill, Professor of Pharmacology.
• Mr. Oron J. Hale, William W. Corcoran Professor of History.
• Mr. Francis G. Lankford, Jr., Commonwealth Professor of Education.
• Mr. Bernard Mayo, Professor of History.
• Mr. Frederick T. Morse, Professor of Mechanical Engineering.
• Mr. William B. O'Neal, Professor of Architectural History.
• Mr. Lorin A. Thompson, Professor of Business Administration.
